Sumandeep Vidyapeeth, a unitary Deemed to be University, was established on 17th January 2007 under section 3 of the UGC Act 1956.
A Unique medical Deemed to be University the first of its kind to be established in Gujarat added another milestone achievement by acquiring Jain minority status in 2014.
