Sumandeep Vidyapeeth was notified by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, as a deemed university vide notification No. F.9-46/2004-U.3. This notification was issued under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956. The University Grants Commission (UGC) further confirmed this status vide notification No. F.No.6-1-6/2004 (CPP-1) dated March 3, 2007.

Continuous cumulative evaluation system (CCES)– Continuous evaluation- every lecture and practical session is evaluated for the students as part of formative assessment. Weightage is given on day to day assessment of students and which also reflects in preparation of their internal marks.
As part of Institutional Social Responsibility, outreach programs include health camps, discounted treatment for underprivileged individuals, free food to inpatients, a rural health care center, and financial support to low-income students from the Jain community.
