General Guidelines for Admission

Criteria for Allotment of Seats of M.B.B.S., M.D. / M.S., D.M. / M.Ch. B.D.S., / M.D.S. Programs:

• The allotment of 100% seats of M.B.B.S., M.D. / M.S., D.M. / M.Ch. B.D.S., / M.D.S. Programs of the Institution shall be done as per the regulations laid down by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Govt. of India in compliance of the Order of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India dated 23/03/2012 passed in I.A No. 16/2012 in Civil Appeal No. 1944 of 1993 - Anand S.Biji Vs State of Kerala & Others and in order to comply with the directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India dated 09/5/2017 passed in Writ Petition© No.267 of 2017 –Dar-Us-Slam Educational Trust & Ors Vs MCI & Ors
• The role of the Institution in the seat allotment process of the aforementioned programs shall only be limited to the level as defined by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Govt. of India.
• The Central Admission Committee shall study the counselling scheme laid down by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Govt. of India each year, for aforementioned programs and shall strictly abide by the same.

Criteria for Allotment of Seats of B.A.M.S. / B.H.M.S. Programs:

• The allotment of 100% seats of B.A.M.S. / B.H.M.S Programs of the Institution shall be done as per the regulations laid down by the Ayush Admission Central Counselling Committee (AACCC), Ministry of Ayush, Govt. of India 

• The role of the Institution in the seat allotment process of the aforementioned programs shall only be limited to the level as defined by the Ayush Admission Central Counselling Committee (AACCC).

• The Central Admission Committee shall study the counselling scheme laid down by the Ayush Admission Central Counselling Committee (AACCC), each year, for aforementioned programs and shall strictly abide by the same.

Criteria for allotment of Seats of Diploma, Bachelor, Post Graduate Diploma, Post Graduate Degree, Super-specialty Programs (other than M.B.B.S., M.D./ M.S., D.M./ M.Ch. B.D.S., M.D.S. / BAMS / BHMS) of the Institution:

• The allotment of seats in Diploma, Bachelor, Post Graduate Diploma, Post Graduate Degree Programs (other than M.B.B.S., M.D. / M.S., D.M. / M.Ch., B.D.S., M.D.S./ BAMS / BHMS) of the Institution shall be on the basis of merit of Sumandeep Vidyapeeth Common Entrance Test (SVCET) for a given program of that particular year.

• All the aspirants seeking admission into the aforementioned programs shall submit the duly filled application form to the Institution in Online/Offline manner within the time limits prescribed by the Institution.

• The Dept. of Central Admission of the Institution shall then scrutinize the applications so received & shall short list the applications on the basis of eligibility criteria for a particular program.

• If the numbers of eligible applications for a particular course are more than the allotted number of seats for that program then allotment of seats shall be on the basis of merit of Sumandeep Vidyapeeth Common Entrance Test (SVCET) for that particular program.

• If the numbers of eligible applications for a particular course are less than or equal to the allotted number of seats for that program then the Sumandeep Vidyapeeth Common Entrance Test (SVCET) for that particular program shall be cancelled. In such case the inter- se-merit shall be prepared by the Department of Central Admission on the basis of the marks secured by the candidate at the qualifying examination and the same shall be used for the allotment of seats for a particular program.

• In case of Non-availability of eligible candidate for reserved seat/s in a given program of the Institution, the same may be offered to the eligible Unreserved/General category candidate on the basis of merit.

Criteria for seat allotment for Doctoral (Ph.D.) program:

• All the aspirants seeking admission into Doctoral (Ph.D.) programs of the Institution shall submit the duly filled application form to the Institution in Online/Offline manner within the time limits prescribed by the Institution.

• The Dept. of Central Admission of the Institution shall then scrutinize the applications so received & shall short list the applications on the basis of eligibility criteria for a particular program.

• All the eligible applicants shall have to appear for Sumandeep Vidyapeeth Common Entrance Test (SVCET) for PhD program. 

• All the successful candidates of SVCET for PhD program shall be called for an Interview / Viva voce.

• Based on the performance of SVCET and Interview/Viva voce, the subject wise merit list will be displayed on website and notice board of the Institution.

• The Merit listed candidates shall be invited to participate in Ph.D. registration process.
